This camera is AMAZING. I have never been able to achieve sharpness in a photo like this until now. I am in love.
I had to do something simple because the remote I have isn’t compatible with the MKII. I ordered a new one which should be here tomorrow. I had to take this with the 10 second timer…which sucks. I also need to go tripod shopping this week since my flimsy little one doesn’t have enough support.

If you ever feel neglected,
If you think all is lost,
I’ll be counting up my demons, yeah,
Hoping everything’s not lost.
When you thought that it was over,
You could feel it all around,
Everybody’s out to get you,
Don’t you let it drag you down.
Cos if you ever feel neglected,
If you think that all is lost,
I’ll be counting up my demons, yeah.
Hoping everything’s not lost
5 minutes to shoot today..trying hard not to fall behind so thought I would try something simple. A friend of mine pointed out to me that most of my pictures feature me with my eyes closed or faceless. I usually try to avoid straight on portraits…mostly because I have such a hard time capturing the right expression in my eyes. And still a little camera shy if you can believe it.
I put in my two weeks tonight.

My body is going to punish me tomorrow for staying up so late to edit this. Closed at work tonight and going in again tomorrow morning…guh.
I like re-using props for the sake of seeing how much I’ve improved since I started…throw back Day 4.

Remember those puppy eyes? :)
Both the pups are growing up fast. They are so sweet and well behaved. It was their first time at the dog beach today. Apparently these retrievers are scared of water….

Mia wanted to say hi too.

Mia is my go to model for days like today.
I went to bed rather late and slept the day away. Mia curled up next to me and kept me company. :)

Meet Daisy, one of our two new Golden Retriever puppies. It was love at first sight.
You can bet you will see more of their fluffy adorableness throughout the entirety of this project.
