It’s good to feel alive
Feel alive, feel alive
This amazing life

Relax it’s easy, relax it’s easy

I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of shooting during the golden hour…I hope you guys don’t either.
My pants now have snail guts all over the seat of them. -_-

Named after my all time favorite Kings of Leon song. I’m listening to it right now.
I BOUGHT MY 5D MARK II TODAY.
I can’t believe I’m finally going to hold my dream camera in my hands. Making the switch to Canon after shooting Nikon for 5 years is a little scary but I’m so so so excited. Someone pinch me. :)

This is odd. I don’t even know.
Welcome to my head.

Ahh, the light was so beautiful today. It’s been awhile since I’ve seen a golden hour like this one. My last couple photos have been kind of dark, so this is a nice change.
This was probably one of my favorites to shoot…mostly because I’m lazy. I got to lay down and soak this all in at the same time. Minimal editing to boot!
I guess the only bad part was all the snail goobers on my pillow. -_-

I feel like I’m dying. Maybe that’s a little dramatic but I’m really sick. :(
Isn’t it funny how people pretend to feel sorry for you and then avoid you like you are the plague?
Believe me, I would much rather spend all day in bed away from everyone.
Still experimenting with textures, layers and the works. Give me all your feedback.

You’ve got to follow your passion. You’ve got to figure out what it is you love, who you really are, and have the courage to do that. I believe that the only courage anybody ever needs is the courage to follow their own dreams.

I love overcast lighting. This is the closest thing to wilderness behind my house. And Morning Glories are one of my favorite flowers. :)

I decided to upload this before I got too OCD with it. I’m new at this kind of editing, so please don’t be too critical. I know it’s less than perfect.
Waking up with the freedom to do whatever your heart desires feels amazing. This is summer.

The answer is yes, I am still very happy.

Originally I wanted the feathers to be falling around me, but apparently I don’t have the right cordination for that. I was a little more than frustrated with this shoot. I’d be all set for the picture, and then the camera falls face down with the weight of the SB600. I’ve resulted to tying a cord around it, but even that doesn’t seem to work too well. Might be buying a new tripod soon… when I’m not so cash strapped.
(P.S….This was fun to clean up. But not really…)
Tonight is not like other nights.
Tonight is the night I fall asleep with a smile.
Tonight is the night I go to bed to visit you in my dreams, yet again.
Only this time, when I wake up, my dream becomes my reality.
In your arms, it’s hard to believe that I’m awake.
I could live in this dream with you forever.
A child has no trouble believing the unbelievable, nor does the genius or the madman. It’s only you and I, with our big brains and our tiny hearts, who doubt and overthink and hesitate.
Don’t think. Act.
We can always revise and revisit once we’ve acted.
But we can accomplish nothing until we act.
